This presentation looks at the importance of family in attaining and sustaining self-defined independence for people with disabilities, through education, employment, and community inclusion. Mr. Jones will discuss how the continued lack of awareness and importance given to policies and practices are barriers to true inclusion of people with disabilities. About the Keynote Presenter: As the Founder, President, and CEO of SoulTouchin' Experiences, Keith Jones has become a powerful voice on the issues of access, inclusion, and empowerment, including education and employment. Mr. Jones has been recognized nationally and internationally as a strong advocate on a wide breadth of issues, which he places in a multi-cultural, cross-disability context that reflects communities in all their diversity.
