CBHC Member Spotlight: Community Bridges

Community Bridges’ Early Supports and Services program provides home-based support to children birth to age 3 who have a developmental delay, a qualifying diagnosis, or are at high risk for developmental delay.  Children who are evaluated and found eligible for our program receive home-based therapy that may include speech therapy, OT, PT, educator services, or Infant Mental Health/ behavioral support, depending on the family’s needs. Our behavioral health support may include issues such as supporting parents around sleep concerns, providing behavioral support at a childcare center, creating a cohesive approach to parenting choices, supporting parents and siblings around dealing with a difficult diagnosis for the child, etc. We also can provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy for a small number of children who have experienced early trauma, when a family is ready to engage in this intensive work.
